Don't worry, they won't. I include specific color settings as a 
standard part of my Xdefaults precisely because the defaults sometimes 
vary. All it does is force specific color numbers to be associated 
with the specific rgb values that you prefer.

And of course, you can try them out, and if you don't like the 
results, change it back to how it is now without a second thought. :)
