    You unfortunately seem to qualify for the marg^W third case.

    And the OP seems to also use mail.gmx.net as smarthost, so if his
various "From:" headers are not all gmx addresses, he might well be in
the same case. This doesn't change my diagnosis, nor proposed solution,
though.

    Not postfix, sorry. But I would not like to be in such situation,
and would try to escape by all means. Ideas? Perhaps:

 · An ip-up script changing the smarthost to be the smtp of the current
provider. With fallback to GMX when provider or smtp is unknown.

 · Locate the mythical good free authenticating relay without
restrictions on sender, added footer ad, Sun iPlanet software, nor
address list reselling on DVD-ROM. Also must not be generously
blacklisted on every DNSBL out there.

 · Pay for such a relay. Recently heard about how good some specialized
mail hosting companies are, but don't remember the details.

 · Freely use a fresh zombie on the network. ;-)
