Does it check the current folder, or the "inbox"? I don't seem
to be able to find imap-fetch-mail in the manual:

One presumes that doesn't work for maildir folders (I use both
IMAP and maildir). Still, it's nice to know how to make mutt
wake up and check an IMAP mailbox.
