+1. compressed-folders is awesome and has been used for ages, rock
stable.

xtitles is also very nice. What could be improved is that the default
for xterm_set_titles must currently be off because TERM is evaluated
at the time the variable is set. If the default is fine, the patch is
as well, but if it should be on per default (which would make sense)
it has to be updated. (As it is one of my pet patches, I'd volunteer :)

+1.

Along that line, some people found my chdir patch handy: (Though I
don't actively use it myself.)

Debian also features the maildir-mtime patch. Though I have to admit
as an mbox user I cannot say how helpful it is.

All patches listed above in /features/ have been part of the Debian
mutt package for a long time and have hence been tested thoroughly.
(The URLs point to my svn repository from which the past few Debian
packages were built.)

The current package in the experimental branch also features the
trash-folder patch along with the purge-message add-on which I have
been using for quite some time in my local binary - I would love to
see these integrated.

The next one is new, but given the plethora of patches (or future
versions), some mechanism to make different mutts not spit out
warnings on unknown commands/settings would be nice:
