http://mutt.blackfish.org.uk/

I found a lot of help on that page.

Also, another thing I learned when I started with Mutt a while ago was
not to use a huge, complicated muttrc file that someone else built. It
was better for me to build a very very very simple muttrc, just enought
to get by on (make less than 10 lines). And then I printed out the Mutt
manual and started reading it. When I found something I like and could
use, I learned how to configure it (like colors, for example) using the
manual and on-line help. Little by little my muttrc grows, and I know
exactly what each line in that file does.

Good luck.

Oh, one more thing: this list is very helpful. Just watch posts. I catch
things every now and then that I'd like to do with Mutt, so I just hover
and listen in, then include it in my Mutt.
