I just went though this.
If you have POP3 and SMTP on an ISP like I do then you can do this:
pop3->fetchmail->procmail->mailboxes->mutt->nullmailer->smtp.yourisp.com
Start with pop3->fetchmail (I actually used pop3->getmail).
Read the manuals; google;
Next you can do pop3->fetchmail->mutt->nullmailer
In general, for all lists, don't ask such broad questions.
