Besides, there are still lots of users who don't have the hottest fastest biggest system out there; it would be a shame to put mutt out of their reach. Let's keep it simple; if you want the added features, just apply the patch(es). They're generally discussed on this mailing list, and certainly on mutt-dev, so you can find anything you need in the archives, and I hear that the wiki has lots of helpful info, too.
