How so?  Doesn't the file name format of maildir violate the Windows file
naming conventions?  I think the semi-colons throw it for a loop.  

If I'm wrong, I'd love to know how to make it work as I have a lot of old mail
archived in Maildir format that I'd like to access from Windows using Mutt
under Cygwin.
