    Another similar but maybe better way:

| set realname="Aaron Mehl"
| set from="aamehl@xxxxxxxxxxxxx"
| send-hook . "unmy_hdr From:"
| send-hook ^lilypond-users@yahoogroups\\.com$ "my_hdr From: Aaron Mehl 
<aamehl@xxxxxxxxx>"
| subscribe ^lilypond-users@yahoogroups\\.com$

    So you have a real default address, and minimize usage of "my_hdr
From:". You send new mail with "m", or reply with "L" (<list-reply>
function), not "g". Then your mail goes from aamehl@xxxxxxxxx to only
all lilypond group members.
