Fair enough. Yeah, I'm connecting with SSL:

I've just checked in a fix. If you update, you shouldn't see any more
'poll failed' messages, but mutt will still hang if imap_idle is set
:)

Aha! And so it does. Thanks!

Now, just out of curiosity, why does it still fail? When the response comes back ("+ idling") that it's idling... mutt sends a DONE right away. Doesn't that end the idling? Maybe I'm misunderstanding how that is supposed to work.
