Except that it won't. I can't actually think of an MTA which is demented
enough to talk SMTP to itself on the same machine, rather than just
delivering direct to the spoolfile.

Bo - could you post a small (< 10KB) file which shows the problem when you
attach and mail it? Might be best to send it in a ZIP file. ;-)
