I'm not sure how this would work. SMTP vs sendmail can be toggled in the compose menu just before sending, after $use_from has already affected the message. Right? I wish we didn't have $use_from or $use_envelope_from, but I guess it's too late to have $from and $envelope_from_address imply $use_x if set.
