this is fixed in the newer versions of the patch. However I want you to
ask if you would include the header cache patch in mutt/debian/unstable
again. Gentoo folks and FreeBSD have them now in for a few months and I
didn't received any negative feedback from these parties. I know you had
much trouble in the past using me's header cache, but I fixed all bugs
about the header cache which were mentioned in the debian bug tracking
area for mutt and the cache isn't enabled per default so I see no way
how it can break things again.

This issue is fixed. I introduced a crc32 per cache entry which
invalidates the cache as soon as the internal strucuture or relevant
compile time options have changed.
