When nc(1) is run without the '-n' option, it tries to lookup the
DNS and lexical names of hosts and ports, respectively. To find port
names, it usually checks the /etc/services file. 465 is called 'urd'
by IANA; it used to be ssmtp. It's used for direct TLS/SSL
submission of mail.
