Probably not. Both ncurses and slang are limited to 16 colors. I'm
thinking about adding (yet another) configure option to allow ncursesw to
use more colors (long story). It would probably also involve modifying
applications such as mutt which have a list of the color names - and
implicitly a limit on the number of colors.
