I hadn't even considered $folder_format because the "regular" folder
list doesn't show the full imap:// path. It shows (properly) only the
final folder name.
Interestingly enough, it DOESN'T show an "N" if the IMAP folder has
new mail even though the "%N" is in my setting and the <tab> display
of mailboxes shows the correct count for folders with new mail.
I used the default from the man page without the user, group, size,
and hardlinks variables to get the space betwen the number of new
messages and the folder name to go away.
I didn't think $folder_format would affect the <tab> display of the
folders listed as "mailbox=" folders because that display IS different
(has number of new messages and shows the whole path <-- the annoying
thing we can't seem to fix) and there are no variables in
$folder_format to deal with either of those.
