Since the mailboxes are in standard formats, any MUA that can also read the
mailboxes should work fine.  Evolution and Sylpheed are two I have tried in
the past.  

There may be some issues sharing mbox type mailboxes with regards to flags.
Maildir may be a better format if you are going to have both MUAs open at the
same time and accessing the same mailbox.
