removing list tags

Hi, Is there any way to remove list tags from the subject with folder-hooks? I 
would like to read the subject line without maximizing the terminal:
[Transit Bus Driver's Club] LACMTA Defends Bus Driver's Actions Prior to 
Gunshots
to this:
LACMTA Defends Bus Driver's Actions Prior to Gunshots
