It could be related to the symlink, however. You can try two things: 1. Set tmpdir to a path which is a symlink that points to a directory that doesn't involve ENCFS. 2. If possible (and it may not be), point tmpdir at a directory inside ENCFS which is a real directory, not a symlink. If #1 doesn't work and/or #2 does work (assuming it's possible), it may be related to the symlink, not ENCFS per se. I would just mention though that in the past I've used the newer NTFS support that uses FUSE (as ENCFS does), and while in general I could read and write files from and to the NTFS partition, audacious refused to play mp3's from it. The website acknowledged that as a problem with NTFS/FUSE... So, I'm more inclined to think your problem is related to ENCFS (and FUSE). -- Derek D.
