Running with debug will tell you. It would be nice if you could that to
finally answer the question whether your IMAP server is to be
blamed. Normally intial loading should be way faster for IMAP compared
to POP, Maildir or MH as in the latter cases mutt first has to read in a
list of messages (yes, one by one, which is horribly slow).
