Re: alternates not working when replying to some mailing lists

I just tried it and what happened is that after sending mail to a
mailing list, all messages get the From: address I use for lists, no
matter who is the recipient.

What I'm doing now and what seems to work is the following:

send-hook . 'set from=private_address@xxxxxxxxxxx'
send-hook ~l 'set from=list_address@xxxxxxxxxxx'

Does anything speak against this?
