That's fine if the *directory* where the new/renamed mailbox is to be
already exists but if it's down a new directory tree it doesn't work.
If you looked at my example you'd have seen it needed a new directory
as well as a new mailbox.

Yes, another plus for mbox over maildir IMHO.  However I'm drifting
towards maildir for other reasons so it probably won't work for me.
