Hello.
I've followed the unicode FAQ on the mutt wiki but I still can't seem to
get mutt to handle UTF-8 message.
I have a working UTF-8 urxvt (like xterm) and vim works with UTF-8
properly, so those two can be eliminated.
The headers on the email say:
Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8
Content-Disposition: inline
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
This seems to be correct.
The message should read (apologies to non UTF-8 users):
Где ресторан, нравиться?
However , it actually says:
\320\223\320\264\320\265
\321\200\320\265\321\201\321\202\320\276\321\200\320\260\320\275,
\320\275\321\200\320\260\320\262\320\270\321\202\321\214\321\201\321\217?
I have set up my LC_* variables correctly and have set charset="utf-8"
in .muttrc, so where does the problem lie?
help would be appreciated,
M
