Can index ls -l style lines be cut down?

Is there any way to cut down on the IMO extraneous information in the index?

By that I mean the permissions, owners and date display that cuts down
on the space available for the name of the maildirs.

I'd like the maildir names to use most of the space across the index
because I'm considering a naming convention like:

account1.mail_lists.mutt.my_threads
account1.mail_lists.mutt.save
