 And of course, the other alternative is to provide an entry in mime-types
 to view plain/text attachments.  The nice thing about THAT approach is you
 can do fun stuff like have it pop up in a terminal window of just the
 right size, where you can decide what just the right size is
 programmatically, or pick numbers that suit you.  Or you can pipe it to
 programs that will display a nice typeset version of it, etc.
