 Yes, you do... but why does this matter?  Mutt will automatically display
 attachments of type text/plain in the pager when you view the e-mail to
 which they're attached.  There's no need to ever go to the attachments
 menu to see them.  And of course, the alternative is to leave the keys
 bound the way they were, and just remember that to view text attachments
 via mailcap instead of auto-view, you just need to hit 'm' instead of
 enter.

 It just seems to me you're trying to make a mountain out of... a grain of
 sand.
