actually, werner koch offered to do it. the last sentence from him was
"i'm not the one to decide it" or something to that effect. nobody from
the mutt "core team" cared to say "go ahead". anything more to say?
anyway, really, read the threads i linked to, otherwise we'll only
reiterate old stuff without any progress.
