Here is a simpler one I think (from a user perspective): if the standard
text fits, use it. If it doesn't fit, use a very simple prompt which
basically just says to press '?' for help.
Sort ('?' for help)?:
At this prompt, the user can press the usual sortkeys, and everything
works as before (this is very important for "old" users like me). Or she
can press '?' and the help-browser can be used to explain all the
possible keys and sort methods. This is help text after all, isn't it ?
