I've been using the version which is included in the Debian version of
mutt. It looks like they've made at least a few changes to your version,
and it applys cleanly to the latest CVS. Not sure if any of the changes
are more than cosmetic.
I haven't encountered any weird segfaults or other strange behavior
recently (knock wood).
