Dave:

What's interesting about these documents is that they reveal that
carriers which claimed their customers were immune to snooping --
for example, Qwest -- were indeed having their traffic tapped
as it passed through hubs where AT&T installed spy equipment.

Those who seek to avoid NSA spying and tracking had best not
assume that carriers which claim that their data is untapped
are being honest. At best, their traffic may be tapped without
their knowledge. Aat worst, they may believe that they have to
deny the monitoring for PR reasons and/or to avoid retailation
by the Administration and/or charges that they have revealed
classified information.

The best thing to do, of cousre, is to encrypt. We, unlike
Qwest and most other carriers, offer encryption solutions to all
of our users.
