This article I wrote looks at the general hypocrisy of blaming Verisign
for doing something others already do with impunity. Not that Verisign is
blameless, as I write in the piece -- they ran roughshod over the basic
communitarian ethos of the Internet in other ways. But we should think
about what we are blaming them for, which are the right reasons and which
are the wrong ones.
