more on howto decode (or more FUBAR mails?)

I thought it was going to work because I saw the command in square
parentheses that would be used on the attachment. However, when I
hit 'v' then 'Enter' on the document, I see only 3 blank lines, i.e.,
lines without tildes in front of them.

The command (on one line) in .mailcap, BTW, is:
   application/msword; wvHtml %s - | lynx --dump -stdin; nametemplate=%s.html;
   copiousoutput

The mime information section before the attachment looks like:
   Content-Type: application/msword;
           name="my doc.doc"
   Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
   Content-Disposition: attachment;
           filename="my doc.doc"

,BUT the first few lines of the raw attachment viewed in nvi looks like
the following. Isn't that a rich text file, and not a Word document?
   {\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\uc1\deff0\deflang1033\deflangfe1033{\fonttbl{\f0\=
   froman\fcharset0\fprq2{\*\panose 02020603050405020304}Times New =
   Roman;}{\f1\froman\fcharset161\fprq2 Times New =

Any hints/suggestions on how to get this thing to display as text
in Mutt much appreciated.  TIA
