executing commands in muttrc

Hi Geeks and Nerds,

I have a setting

  set display_filter=`tdmuttsettings --display-filter`

which works nice, if I am under X because it popup a Xdialog which
let me choose, but now, if I do the same in a folder-hook like

  folder-hook SPAM '`tdmuttsettings --display-filter`'

it tell me, that I have to use "usage: set variable=yes|no"

How can I get this running?

And, how can I execute a command only like

  folder-hook Friend '`rplay some_love_song.wav`'

;-)
