send hook issues

Is there way to have a default send-hook for all mail, and then have
different send-hooks for other things?

As it is now, I have a send-hook for mutt to change my signature to what is
in this email, however if I write other emails to anybody, I always need to
cat my default signature file into the email

I do have "set signature" set in my .muttrc

current hooks:

send-hook mutt 'set from=jhelfman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx'
send-hook mutt 'set signature=~/.sigmutt'
reply-hook mutt 'set from=jhelfman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx'
reply-hook mutt 'set signature=~/.sigmutt'
