Bounce-function, From:-header with ISO-8859-1 and "

Hi,

I wonder why this happens:

I bounced a mail containing this From:-header:
From: =?iso-8859-1?Q?"foo=20bar=FCfoo"?= <user@xxxxxxxxxxx>

After that the spoolfile of postfix contains this:
From: =?iso-8859-1?Q? "foo=20bar=FCfoo" ?= <user@xxxxxxxxxxx>
                     ^                 ^

As you can see, 2 blanks rised out of the dark. This doesn't happen
if the 2 doublequotes are missing.

I have tested it with
Mutt 1.5.6+20040907i (CVS), Debian Sid, postfix 2.1.3-1 + 2.1.5-1 and
Mutt 1.3.28i (2002-03-13), Debian Woody, Exim 3.35

Any idea why the 2 blanks occur?
