unicode body search fails, squares in subjects

Hello mutt users!

I am using mutt in a UTF-8 locale (for versions and information please
see below). I can read and write greek and german without problems. I
can search with simple / in both languages. The only problems are that

        1. body-search (/~b) fails (also when it shouldn't) when the
           search pattern has greek or special german characters;

        2. some subject lines from greek/german mails consist of squares
           instead of the greek/special german characters, although the
           mails are correctly encoded (in this case, the Reply function
           ingores the original subject in my reply-mail from the
           first square to the end of the subject).

I would be grateful for any help

Best Regards

Alexandros
