mutt can't display in xterm after upgrade gnome 2.6



Hi all,

It has been all OK before I upgrade gnome from 2.4 to 2.6. (Doing emerge
on my gentoo box).

But now:
  1. Start xterm, it can display Chinese
  2. Start mutt, both menu and mail subject/content can't display
  Chinese, and it echos "PEOC;SP8D1!#".
  3. Exit mutt, the xterm can't display Chinese then.

And it is OK in Gnome-terminal and mlterm.

xterm start script:
xterm -u8 -lc -cjk_width -fn 7x13bold  -fw 
-misc-simsun-medium-r-normal--14-*-*-*-*-*-iso10646-*

xlsfonts | grep "simsun.*iso10646"
 -misc-simsun-bold-i-normal--0-0-0-0-c-0-iso10646-1
