Barry -- ...and then Barry Skidmore said... % % I am using mutt 1.4.2.1i (2004-02-12) on Trustix Linux 2.1. What mailbox format? % % The problem I am having is that the number of message lines displayed in % the message index is always reported as '0', irrespective of the actual % number of lines in the message. If you're using Maildir, you'll get that; Maildir does not by default need any number-of-lines header and doesn't store the messages all in one file so that mutt has to go past each, so the data just isn't there. This has come up a number of times before, and there is a procmail recipe which will insert the number of lines in the header for mutt to use. Search the archives for something like maildir lines procmail and see what you get.
