Mutt passes the mail to your MTA to be delivered. What are you using
for a Mail Transfer Agent? Sendmail?

# Common e-mail tools
http://www.sendmail.net/ - sendmail
http://www.postfix.org/ - postfix - send mail to local users (and
internet when configured correctly)

http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/fetchmail/ - fetchmail - gets mail from
internet accounts (non-Hotmail type)

http://www.procmail.org/ - procmail - sorts and delivers into separate
mailboxes

http://www.mutt.org/ - mutt - mail client that sucks less than all the
others

http://www.mandrakeuser.org/docs/connect/index.html#mtuw - Email the
Linux Way

http://www.hserus.net/dlhowto.html - Suresh Ramasubramanian's email
guide

http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Mail-User-HOWTO/index.html - The Linux Mail
User HOWTO

http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Mail-Administrator-HOWTO.html - The Linux
Electronic Mail Administrator HOWTO

http://www.squirrelmail.org - SquirrelMail web mail

Why use Hotmail when there is http://www.linuxmail.org/ LinuxMail?
