Does mutt take the keys from the chars between the brackets ?
Well, then changing the .po files (and perhaps creating an own locale) 
would be a possible way. Although having "bind" commands for this
jobs would IMHO be better.

Are there any further restrictions to know about when editing these
locale files ?
