Evolution is an excellent client for the desktop.You could include it in a standard configuration for a business environment, and your standard commercial desktop user could move from Outlook Express, open it and use it. In this it has real value. It provides a viable alternative to the standard issue, and where one has been proven to exist, it begs the question that perhaps there are others.
Can you imagine the highly expensive, long term training proposition, that would never be considered, involved in training every girl in the corporation typing pool to migrate from Outlook Express to Mutt?
