Sorry, yes that's what I meant. My bad.

Picking one mail folder at random, in the new directory they are all of 
the format:

1234567890.1234_0.HOSTNAME

In the cur directory they are roughly of the format:

1234567890.1234_0.HOSTNAME:2,S (or RS)
1234567890.1234_123.HOSTNAME:2,S

etc.
