I seriously doubt it's mutt's fault. More likely a bad MTA or DNS
setting is getting you flagged. Or maybe...

Why do you have your /etc/motd as your sig? That might have something
to do with your message getting tagged as spam....
When I sent the e-mail in subject, I didn't use this account, thus this sig. I didn't have any.
