sync mailbox

Hi all

I'm using mutt with imap connection on courier-imap server.

Sometime I edit a mail the X-Label under mutt for that I'm
using a script editlabel 

        http://blitiri.com.ar/p/other/mutt-labels/editlabel

I put this macro

macro index,pager y "<enter-command>set editor=\"~/bin/editlabel append\"\n\ 
<edit><sync-mailbox><next-undeleted>\ <enter-command>set editor=vim\n" "Append 
label"

in my .muttrc

It's working but the mail a edit disapear from the mailbox and...and the
new one not come. I must exit mutt and re-launch. Maybe I can wait
long-time.  

How can I make the old-one disapear but the new one is in the index very
quickly ?
