There's no such thing as using procmail "through" IMAP - procmail is a
*delivery* agent. If you don't control delivery, then you can't use
procmail.
If all you want to do is use your own text-based filters on a remote
IMAP inbox, you can use imapfilter (http://imapfilter.hellug.gr/), but
Gmail doesn't use folders per-se, so it's probably a better idea to
just use their built-in filters.
