I found the problem.  I had set sendmail="/usr/bin/msmtp"
commented out in my .muttrc.  Mutt was sending mails with something.  It sent 
one to this list with the set sendmail commented out. The mails are going ok to 
the problem address with the set sendmail="/usr/bin/msmtp" uncommented
