Evolution problem co-existing with other mail readers
I run onto a strange problem in Evolution, "Local delivery" was working OK but when I try to re-configure it again
it stopped working; I get a warning:
"Could not open mail file /var/spool/mail: Is a directory"
So googling I run onto this post page:

Based on this information Evolution Local delivery has a problem if will use
Mutt at the same time.
It doesn't matter if I quit Mutt, Local delivery stopped working. I can not select my mbox name in
/var/spool/mail/joseph - everything is grayed out.
