Request for NEW functionality in signature

Hello,

for attaching a signature to messages we have

    set signature=<path>/some_sig
    set sig_on_top=<yes|no>

The problem is, that I (and many others) have the need for a "signature"
on TOP and on BOTTOM where the message should apear in the middle.

So my question is:  Is it possible to add this feature?

If yes, the signature need a tag inside, that mutt know,
where to insert the replied message like:

----[ '/home/michelle.konzack/.signatures/sig_37' ]-----------------

So the replied message with its attribution line
will replace the <MUTT_MESSAGE_TAG>

...or using instead of

    set signature=<path>/some_sig
    set sig_on_top=<yes|no>

two new signatures like

    set signature_top=<path>/some_sig_top
    set signature_bottom=<path>/some_sig_bottom

Currently I do it with an "external formater" in my $EDITOR where I
must select the text and then activate the "formater" which wraps
the selected text into the TOP and BOTTOM signatures but this kind
of working is crap, specialy if it can be done more easier in mutt
directly.
