Hi,
I _think_ I may be seeing this bug or at least something similar. I use
mutt to access our imaps server which runs cyrus 2.3.13 (via Kolab on
Debian). I'm using the latest Ubuntu-packaged Mutt 1.5.20 (2009-06-14).
Every now and again, mutt will try to access a folder and just freeze up.
I end up killing mutt and starting it again. For some reason (and perhaps
this sets my problem as different to this), it more often than not happens
when I try to reopen a postponed mail (my postponed mail is an imap folder
on the server). My memory is that this is generally after a long series
of idleness (possibly after I've been editing a single email for a long
time so mutt itself hasn't been running, it has spawned vim).
My imap config is moreorless:
set imap_user="......"
set spoolfile=imaps://........./INBOX
set folder=imaps://....../INBOX
set mail_check=60
set record="=sent-mail/`date +%Y/%m`"
set header_cache=.mutt/cache
set postponed="=postponed" # folder for postponed messages
set imap_keepalive=60
Is there something I should do to help sort this out? Should I run with
-D and wait for the output? Should I try and get it to dump a core?
Gavin
