Either we revert the fix and it's in the list, or we leave it as it is and it's not in. Note that the behaviour now is like the behaviour has always been for maildir/mh; it's a step in making new mail handling more consistent. And there's no reason an FCC message is considered a new message because you've just composed it and know it in detail already. Anyway, I've added your use case to http://dev.mutt.org/trac/wiki/NewMailHandling so that we don't miss it when doing a rework. Rocco
